Gillian Jeffrey

Gillian has been a freelance trainer since 2007, providing a range of staff and managerial training programmes for employees of the Third Sector. She has worked in a variety of different fields herself including 8 years with both Hampshire and Somerset Probation Services and 15 years as a senior manager in the homeless and supported housing sector.


Gillian’s wealth of experience in staff management issues and good management practices in the Third Sector enables her to design training programmes that are practical and suitable for charities, voluntary service and non profit making businesses. She understands the constraints they often have to work under and the values that guide and motivate them in providing the services that they do.

Jane Galloway

Jane specialises in fundraising, training, marketing and communications and has a wealth of experience in the health care sector, in business and for numerous charities. Jane’s first appointment in the sector was as an Appeal Director for Macmillan, working on a £1million capital appeal. Further experience was gained from working as appeal director at a London University Teaching Hospital, coordinating fundraising and Voluntary Services as well as launching a major £3million capital appeal. Jane has also worked as marketing director for a UK national disability organisation and chief executive for a conservation charity.

The breadth of Jane's experience has given her exposure to most of the issues that organisations face, as well as an insight into the appropriate solutions and ‘hands on’ experience, making her ideally qualified to assist organisations with their training needs and ongoing development.
